The technogy of the printing press was needed to fuel the first reformation of Christ's church. The modern translation of the Bible in the hands of the common person allowed the message of the gospel to spread virally without needing the church to manage it. In the next few years we will see the connectivity of social computing allow the message of the Bible be put into practice without needing the church or any other organization manage it.
